A certificate of analysis (COA) is a lab’s record of a test on one specific batch. It tells you what was tested, how and when, not whether a compound is safe or effective.
What to check
- Compound and quantity match the label (e.g. BPC-157, 5mg).
- Lot/batch number matches the number on your vial or bottle. A COA for a different lot doesn’t describe your product.
- Method: HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry (MS) for identity. Both should be present.
- Purity result and the chromatogram, not just a percentage.
- Lab name, date and signature. Where the lab offers it, use its verification portal to confirm the report.
Red flags
No lot number; the same COA reused across products; edited or blurry PDFs; a lab that can’t be contacted; dates before the product was made.
Our COAs
