Glutathione Not mixing well…it’s clumping

I added Bac water and swirled it not shaken. Let sit for a little while. 2 days later very clumpy sits on the bottom of the bottle.
It’s not normal for glutathione (GSH) powder to remain lumpy after adding bacteriostatic water (BW) or sterile water. It should dissolve relatively quickly. The issue could be due to several factors:

Possible Reasons for Poor Dissolution
1. Low-Quality or Improperly Stored Glutathione
• If the powder has been exposed to moisture or air, it may have partially degraded, making it harder to dissolve.
• Always store glutathione in a cool, dry place, ideally in the refrigerator.
2. Wrong Water-to-Powder Ratio
• If too little bacteriostatic water is used, the solution may become too concentrated, making dissolution difficult.
• Try increasing the amount of water slightly and swirling (not shaking) gently.
3. Glutathione Particle Size
• Some brands or formulations have larger particles that take longer to dissolve.
• Let it sit for a few minutes after adding the water, then gently swirl again.
4. Incorrect Mixing Technique
• Do not shake vigorously, as this can cause oxidation and clumping.
• Instead, tilt the vial gently and roll it between your hands to help it dissolve.
5. Water Temperature
• Using slightly warm (not hot) sterile water may help speed up dissolution. Avoid excessive heat, as it can degrade glutathione.

Solutions to Fix It
• Try adding a few more drops of bacteriostatic water and let it sit for 5–10 minutes before gently swirling.
• If clumps persist, check if the glutathione has expired or degraded.
• Make sure you’re using a pharmaceutical-grade product from a reputable source.

Are you using a lyophilized (freeze-dried) glutathione powder, or is it a pre-mixed liquid? Also, what brand or type are you using? That might help troubleshoot further.
